Editor and Viewer Guide
This document describes the main editing and viewing functions of the SharkSim Developer application. It allows users to load and view different simulation models and provides full support for generating, validating, and correlating IBIS simulation models.
Quality Checker Guide
The Quality Checker uses an external specification file based upon the component datasheet to automatically validate the IBIS buffer model parameters in the IBIS file. Quality checks can be run on individual buffer models or in batch mode. The results of the quality checks can be displayed in the Quality Checker GUI window as well as an external HTML report.
Simulation and Correlation Guide
The Standard Load section of the Simulation and Correlation GUI allows the user to automatically assign a manufacturers test load to an output IBIS buffer model and run the simulations without leaving the SharkSim Developer application by integrating to an existing SPICE application tool. The results can be viewed in the IBIS Correlation Data Viewer and can be correlated to existing [Test Data] in the IBIS file.
SPICE to IBIS Translation and IBIS Generation Guide
SharkSim Developer allows the user to use a GUI interface to generate IBIS data from SPICE simulation models. The user can also take simulation data from various sources and automatically generate compliant IBIS files. Both single-ended and differential buffer designs are supported.
